Publication & Certificate

At the end of the doctoral process, you publish your work on the server of the University and State Library (ULB) or with a publisher. This is formally your last examination performance. Immediately after you have passed your oral examination, the disputation, you will receive permission to print from the Graduate Center and precise information on how the work must be prepared and where it will be uploaded to the ULB.

Once the thesis has been successfully uploaded to the ULB and published, the ULB will notify the Graduate Center directly and your doctoral certificate can be printed and a certified copy made for you. The copies of the certificate will be given directly to you and you can use your title from that point on. The (original) certificate will be presented to you at the semi-annual graduation ceremony.
