Booking terms for workshops and courses

Cost coverage

For doctoral students of the Faculty of Medicine course fees for up to 10 workshops.

Registration and Cancellation

     Binding Nature of Registration

  • Registrations made less than 6 days before the start of the workshop are binding and cannot be canceled.

     Cancellation

  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration no later than 6 days before the workshop begins so that your spot can be offered to someone else.

     Fees for Last-Minute Cancellations or non-attendancenon atted

  • For cancellations made less than 6 days before the workshop begins or in the event of an unexcused absence, a pro-rated workshop fee of 125 € per day of the workshop may be charged.

  • In the event of absence due to illness, a doctor’s note must be submitted within 14 days after the workshop begins. After this deadline has passed, a pro-rated workshop fee will also be charged.

Language Requirements

  • The language of the workshop (German or English) is specified in the workshop description.

  • If it becomes apparent during the workshop that participants do not meet the language requirements, proportional workshop fees will apply

Certificates

     A certificate will be issued upon:

  • full attendance

  • for online workshops: active participation and interaction, camera turned on and microphone functioning properly, and responding when directly addressed

  • Important: Failure to meet these criteria will result in no entitlement to a certificate. In addition, a proportional workshop fee may be charged.

Technical Requirements (Online Workshops)

     Required Equipment

  • PC or laptop (participation via smartphone is not possible)

  • Stable internet connection

  • Working camera (must be turned on throughout the entire workshop)

  • Working microphone

Participants’ Responsibilities (Online Workshops)

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their technical equipment is functioning properly. Technical issues such as connection drops, faulty hardware, or software errors that prevent active participation may result in a charge for a portion of the workshop fees.
